Mohamed Salah's double helped Liverpool to an emphatic 4-1 Merseyside derby win over Everton on Monday, their biggest in the Premier League at Goodison Park.
It was a crushing blow to Everton's hopes of survival, leaving them just one point above the relegation zone with seven games remaining.
Salah opened the scoring in the 36th minute, pouncing on a loose ball in the Everton area. He doubled Liverpool's lead just five minutes later, this time with a stunning strike from outside the box.
Everton pulled one back through Demarai Gray in the 60th minute, but Liverpool restored their two-goal advantage just four minutes later through Joel Matip.
Darwin Nunez added a fourth for Liverpool in the 74th minute, sealing a comprehensive victory for the visitors.
