Rangers see off Dundee United to end losing run
Rangers got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over a spirited Dundee United side at Ibrox.
Malik Tillman and Ross Stewart scored the goals for the Light Blues, either side of a Jamie McGrath strike that had drawn United level in the second half.
The victory ends a run of three straight defeats for Rangers, who had lost to Celtic in the Scottish League Cup final, Union Saint-Gilloise in the Europa League and Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.
It was a hard-fought victory for Rangers, who had to dig deep to see off a determined Dundee United side. The Tannadice men took the lead through McGrath in the second half, but Rangers hit back through Tillman and Stewart to claim the three points.
The win moves Rangers back into second place in the Scottish Premiership, two points ahead of Celtic who have a game in hand.
